CultureOwl is continuing to build the foundation for arts groups to fully connect with their audiences — not just through individual events, but through stronger organization profiles, followable pages, better visibility tools, and a more useful resource for the cultural sector.

This latest platform update includes:

  • Dedicated Organization Pages for arts groups

  • The ability to follow organizations & venues

  • Expanded event analytics for members

  • A faster, easier platform experience

  • Easier account access with passwordless login

  • Multiple users for organization accounts

  • An expanded industry news section

Together, these updates help organizations build a stronger presence on CultureOwl while giving audiences more ways to discover, follow, and stay connected to the arts in their community.

Dedicated Organization Pages for Arts Groups

CultureOwl is always working on new ways to help arts organizations promote themselves, build visibility, and connect with audiences beyond a single event. Dedicated Organization Pages are part of that process.

Arts groups can now have their own page on CultureOwl, giving visitors a clearer way to learn who they are, where they perform, who is part of the group, and what events they have coming up.

These pages help organizations create a stronger presence on the platform while giving audiences a more direct way to discover and follow the cultural groups shaping their community.

Audiences Can Now Follow Organizations and Venues

CultureOwl users can now follow both organizations and venues, making it easier to stay connected to the groups and places they care about.

Following an organization helps audiences keep up with future performances, exhibitions, programs, and events. Following a venue helps them stay connected to the spaces where culture happens, from theaters and museums to galleries, performance spaces, and community venues.

Together, these updates support deeper discovery by connecting people not only to events, but to the organizations and venues behind them.

Expanded Analytics for Members

Members now have access to more event analytics, including how many times their event has been viewed and how many times it has been liked.

These insights help organizations better understand how audiences are engaging with their events on CultureOwl. Visibility is important, but visibility becomes more powerful when organizations can see how people are responding.

Better analytics can support stronger decisions around promotion, programming, timing, and audience development.

A Faster, Easier Platform Experience

We have also upgraded the platform CultureOwl is built on, making the site faster, smoother, and easier to use.

This improves the experience for members managing their presence on CultureOwl and for visitors exploring events, organizations, venues, and cultural news. A stronger platform foundation allows us to continue building better tools for discovery, promotion, and audience engagement.

An Easier Way to Manage Your Account

We’ve made it easier for organizations to manage their CultureOwl account with passwordless access and support for multiple users.

Instead of relying on one shared login, organizations can now create separate users for team members, collaborators, administrators, marketing staff, or leadership. This makes it easier for the right people to access the account, keep information current, and share responsibilities across the team.

Passwordless access also simplifies the login process. Users can sign in through a secure code sent to their email, removing the need to remember or share a password.

For arts organizations where programming, marketing, and operations are often managed by more than one person, these updates make account access more flexible, practical, and secure.

Expanded Industry News

CultureOwl has also expanded its industry news section to better support arts professionals, organizations, and cultural leaders. The new structure includes opportunities such as calls for artists, auditions, and jobs; industry highlights including funding, grants, policy and advocacy, people on the move, and news and trends; and a growth and visibility section focused on data and insights, cultural marketing, and audience development information.

This expansion reflects our belief that supporting the arts means more than promoting events. It also means helping organizations stay informed, find opportunities, understand the sector, and grow their visibility in a changing cultural landscape.

Building Stronger Cultural Connections

These updates are part of CultureOwl’s larger mission as a Public Benefit Corporation: to build technology that supports the arts, strengthens cultural participation, and helps organizations connect with the audiences who care about their work.

By giving organizations stronger pages, giving audiences more ways to follow the groups and venues they love, expanding member analytics, improving account access, and building a more useful resource for the industry, CultureOwl is continuing to grow as infrastructure for the cultural ecosystem.

More updates are coming soon.
