AFRICAN HERITAGE CULTURAL ARTS CENTER: 6TH ANNUAL SANKOFA JAZZ FESTIVAL

The sixth annual Sankofa Jazz Festival, hosted by Hot 105.1’s Rodney Baltimore, is a part of the Center’s community outreach program. MIAMI BEACH URBAN STUDIOS: ZEN AND THE ART OF FILM - OLIVER SACKS: HIS OWN LIFE

A documentary that explores the life and work of the legendary neurologist and storyteller as he shares intimate details of his battles with drug addiction, homophobia, and a medical establishment that accepted his work only decades after the fact. More event details here.
