The North Miami Community Redevelopment Agency (NMCRA) has announced a one-of-a-kind arts event to highlight North Miami's booming downtown area.
NoMi Artwalks’ inaugural event will be taking place next week, Saturday December 18th, from 3 PM – 10 PM. From pop-up exhibits, featured live performances, an interactive kid zone, and a fantastic line-up of culinary options, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Attendees can visit participating local businesses that call the district home to buy local goods and find a unique gift for loved ones just in time for the Holiday season.
Artisan Market at the ArtWalk, 3pm – 10pm
Partake in the Artisan Market at NoMi ArtWalk! Featuring pop-up shops, artist showcases, handmade items, vintage shopping, boutique goods and FUN!
Kids Art Zone, 3pm - 6pm
Bring the children and let them explore their creative side with the guidance of art professionals at MOCA.
Mural Tour, 6pm
This guided tour lets you learn the stories behind the art and artists of the Downtown North Miami. Meet outside the MOCA entrance.
Pop Up Exhibits 3pm- 10pm
Join the International Reggae Poster Contest for a pop up experience. Join VP Records with “Shadows After Dark“ exhibit that creatively explores social issues. Get an opportunity to meet with the local artists.
Live Art, 5pm
Fusion of music and painting (live art performance). Artists will be painting inspired by the rhythm of music.
Live Music, 4pm – 8pm
Live performances on the MAIN STAGE. Local talents will grace the stage as they compete for prizes.
Wine Tasting, 5- 9pm
Explore interesting wines as you walk NW 125th Street from 5-9 p.m. During the art walk, taste your choice of showcased wines. Follow the NoMi flag to all participating businesses offering wine savory experiences.
The event is free. Attendees can use the CRA’s official walkers guide to plan their experience.
