New art exhibit alert! The Florida Keys Council of the Arts has announced their 2021 Members Show, “Dazzling Horizons”.
The magnificent sunsets, colorful skies, shiny moon, and endless glistening waters serve as an inspiration to the artists in hopes we continue to preserve and enjoy nature.
The Opening Reception will be held Thursday, November 4, from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at the historic Gato Building. The exhibition will remain on display through January 2022. The show includes the work of 56 artists, available for sale.
The Gato building, which is home to many State and County offices, supports the Art in Public Buildings program which offers an alternate space for artists to display their work. The Florida Keys Council of the Arts supports visual, literary, and performing artists and cultural organizations throughout the Keys with several grant programs and scholarships.
