Art can inspire interior design. It is a signature that many homeowners can place on their living and work environments. Interior designers work to reflect and celebrate those who live in a home, so the selection of art is an extremely important ingredient to the overall design. This year’s Home Show can help homeowners discover artistic treasures in our own community, and feel more secure in their selection and placement of art in the home by involving both artists and interior design professionals.
“Art plays an important role in the overall feel of a room design,” said Sharon Berube, spokesperson for the Home Design and Remodeling Show. “It can define a room, it can express an emotion, or it can convey a homeowner’s personality. Our goal this year is to bring the art collector or homeowner together with the artist themselves and the professional designers who can help them bring it all together!”
Professional South Florida designers will present several original room designs inspired by the work of artists featured in At HomeWith Art –Spotlight on Miami’s Art Districts.
