The Horrorland - South Florida's first ever drive thru haunted house attraction
Spooky season is upon us and you’re in a car about to take the ride of your life... A HORROR ride that is! This is no ordinary fright road you will travel. It will take you deep into the darkness where creatures of the night such as monsters, vampires, ghosts, zombies and more eagerly await your doomed arrival. Welcome to The Horrorland - the first drive thru haunted house attraction in South Florida and Florida!
If you love chills and thrills, thank the creative horror mind of Francisco Santos, CEO and Director of Live305 Entertainment. The Cirque du Soleil veteran, with more than 20 years experience in the experimental entertainment business, and his talented AI team have developed a one-of-a-kind concept thrill fest experience unlike any other. “The beauty of this immersive experience is that participants are protagonists in a horror movie that’s happening around them in real time—and it’s all done from the safely of their cars,” said Santos.
Over the course of 35 chilling minutes, the fully immersive attraction takes people into a fantasy world complete with ghoulish characters and unexpected bursts of “unusual” activities. Participants travel through six differently themed passages and experience the dreaded terrors associated with the Halloween season. “The Horrorland attraction is completely without contact and observes all safety and precaution measures, but to enjoy this thrilling experience be sure the car doors remain closed,” said Santos. This attraction is a family event, but not recommended for children under 13 years of the age.
“In this era of COVID-19 we believe people need some relief from the anxiety of the real world,” adds Santos. “We put people into a fantasy world where they leave their troubles behind and can focus on having a good time. Instead of going to a traditional haunted house, they can now enjoy an entertaining drive thru experience where social distancing is never a problem. It’s an alternative way to have fun in the ‘new normal’ society.”
Be prepared for a fright as there are seven different Haunted House themes at The Horrorland:
Alice in Horrorland
Christmas Nightmare
Creepy Carnival
Zombie Apocalypse
Farm of Horrors
Asylum of Darkness
Scream's Cemetery
