SLOW BURN THEATRE CO: SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD

Songs for a New World, the first musical from Tony Award winner, Jason Robert Brown (Parade, Bridges of Madison County), is a moving collection of powerful songs that examine life, love and the choices that we make. DEERING ESTATE: CHEFS TABLE ON THE BAY

The Deering Estate Foundation will be hosting the inaugural and exclusive cooking and dining experience Chef’s Table on the Bay. Under the stars on the Estate’s beautiful courtyard, guests will enjoy delicious food, celebrity cooking demonstration, wine pairings, and a very special bourbon cocktail. STUDIOS OF KEY WEST: THE SMALLEST PARADE IN THE UNIVERSE!

The Smallest Parade in the Universe is an official Fantasy Fest event featuring workbench size parade floats that celebrate the theme of that year’s Fest (All a Daze for a Holiday). The 18″ floats are auctioned off during a mini parade down a replica of Duval street on a conveyor, complete with a “police escort” and a bobble-head grand marshal. More event details here.
FLAMINGO GARDENS: HARVEST FESTIVAL - SUPERHEROES WEEKEND
October 23rd & 24th at 10:00 am
See your favorite superheroes (and villians) in action! Harvest Festival admission includes free hayrides from 10am – 4pm (weather permitting) weekends in October, with themed scavenger hunts and educational activities, harvest themed displays, photo ops, live performances, food, music, and the new Gallery exhibit Armor and Might: The Conquest of La Florida with authentic Conquistador artifacts and replicas.
