MIAMI CITY BALLET: VIRTUAL OPEN HOUSE

Miami City Ballet is delighted announce our first ever Virtual Open House for young artists of color, their families and teachers. Virtual Open House events are free online, interactive experiences designed to welcome and create access for young artists of color to visit behind-the-scenes of Miami City Ballet and Miami City Ballet School. POMPANO BEACH ARTS: DR. ED CALLE PRESENTS MAMBLUE WITH 18-PIECE BAND AND VOCALIST LISANNE LYON

Saxophonist Ed Calle is known for his extraordinary musical ability. His distinctive playing style has been heard on hundreds of recordings both as a sideman and soloist. In this outstanding livestreamed concert, he will perform songs from his acclaimed CD Mamblue accompanied by an 18-piece orchestra and vocalist Lisanne Lyon. More event details here.

THE SYMPHONIA: QUARANTUNE TUESDAYS

Grammy-nominated conductor Alastair Willis, Principal Conductor of The Symphonia, South Florida’s premier Chamber Orchestra, is hosting a new weekly series, ‘Quarantune Tuesdays,’ on The Symphonia’s Facebook page. Each Tuesday afternoon, via video, Willis shares a brief story and a song from his personal playlist that has uniquely inspired him over the years. Featured selections include genres such as Cuban Jazz, R&B, and of course, Classical music. More event details here.
BROWARD CENTER: SHELEA: NATURAL WOMAN - A NIGHT OF SOUL FROM ARETHA TO ADELE

Whitney. Cher. Adele. Aretha. There are those few legends who need only one name to identify them. Singer, songwriter and pianist Sheléa is poised to enter that rarefied atmosphere. From the White House to the Library of Congress and Carnegie Hall, her performances blend traditional pop, jazz, R&B and soul brining a contemporary edge to classics and a classic touch to contemporary pop standards.
