Now Accepting Applications for Two Opera Guild Competitions
Competition 1.
Second Annual Tommy Trotter Opera Competition

The Opera Guild for Atlanta is pleased to announce The Tommy Trotter Opera Competition (formerly The Tommy Trotter Memorial Summer Enrichment Competition) for university and college vocal students. Two $1,000 awards will be given to students accepted in summer workshop or apprentice artists programs. Samples of acceptable programs include Harrower Opera Workshop at Georgia State, American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, and apprentice artist programs at summer opera festivals.
The application deadline is March 3, 2023. Awards will be made in mid-April.
Competition 2.
Sixth Annual Scholarship Competition for Graduate and Undergraduate Vocal Students

The Opera Guild for Atlanta is also pleased to announce the Sixth Annual Scholarship Competition held at Morningside Presbyterian Church on April 30th. Three prizes will be awarded:
- One $1,000 award to an undergraduate student
- One $1,000 Tommy Trotter Memorial award to a graduate student
- One $500 Elizabeth N. Colson Encouragement award
