Florida Art Demonstrations - Acrylic and Watercolor
Lac du Flambeau, welcomes art lovers to attend three days of free Florida art demonstrations and receptions.
You will enjoy popular Chicago artist David R Becker. David will do two demonstrations in different mediums-- watercolor and acrylic. They are both entertaining and educational and of interest to all ages. Refreshments will be served and there will be door prizes. You don’t want to miss this FREE demo from a nationally renown artist.
David R. Becker: Becker studied at The American Academy of Art in Chicago. When he graduated, he went into illustrating for a major advertising agency, J. Walter Thompson, and later for Foote Cone and Belding. In 1983 Becker also started teaching watercolor classes and he is now teaching many new mediums and surfaces. He teaches around the country, but he always finds time for his favorite ambition, creating fine art paintings.
Becker is the author of “Watercolor Composition Made Easy”, and “How to Sketch with Watercolor”. He has had two different articles published in International Artist Magazine and in Watercolor Magic. He has reached signature status to the Transparent Watercolor Society of America, and has won numerous awards for his work from watercolor societies around the country. Becker works in many mediums, including Watercolor, Oils, and Acrylics; he is mostly
recognized for his watercolor scenes of Chicago.

1 PM -- The Most Important Watercolor Demonstration
2 PM -- The Most Important Water-medium Demonstration - boat scene
David will be bringing samples from Holbein and from Legion paper as well.
