Drum Out 2021 At December Art Walk

Looking for holiday gifts? Join St. Lucie Cultural Alliance’s Art Walk! It is set to be a festive, art and music filled finish to 2021 in Downtown Fort Pierce, with ongoing exhibitions Grunge & Glamour and Opulence complimenting the Fort Pierce Art Club’s Marvelous Mini Masterpieces, which include over 200 small canvases juried, displayed and sold at a silent auction.

This month’s Art Walk on December 17th, 5 - 8 PM and the silent auction from 5 - 7 PM. Guests can join as the Alliance launches a new monthly drum circle with Kevin Beatkeeper, held 6 - 7 PM in the parking lot of 111 Orange Building.

Art Walk, held on the third Friday of every month, brings together local artists, musicians, galleries, and local businesses to create an evening of music, live painting and shopping in Downtown Fort Pierce. Guests will be able to enjoy a variety of live music, including Saxophone Expressions by Bruce Bernstein, Joette Giorgis, a classical guitarist who will be featured in the Alliance Gallery and the S’Marty-Lee’s, a bluegrass/folk trio. 

The St. Lucie Cultural Alliance’s current exhibitions, Grunge & Glamour at the Alliance Gallery and Opulence at Ohana Luxury Real Estate are on display with a wine reception that evening. Art enthusiasts can bid on the Fort Pierce Art Club’s Marvelous Mini Masterpieces, with all funds raised going to support art scholarships for local students. “These 3 x 3 mini masterpieces make the perfect stocking stuff or present for that ‘hard to buy for’ person,” says Cultural Alliance Community Engagement Manager Jake Sanders. “Everyone has an opportunity to take home incredible work, and while supporting a great cause.”
