Join us as we present "Shorts & Beats" Venezuela & immerse yourself in the Vibrant Venezuelan culture through a captivating blend of film & music & food by @paellayolecatering
Experience a selection of six (6) short films from Venezuela. Followed by a live performance by Susana Behar and friends—Venezuelan Sounds- inside the historic Deering Estate Theater.

Through a downpour in the middle of the night, a couple travels a deserted highway. Unexpectedly, the headlights of their car illuminate what appears to be a crime scene: a man is dragging a body on the asphalt.

An incompetent police officer uses the so called “1/92 law” as a pretext to mistreat two women who arrive at the station to file charges and report a rape.
* This event will be held indoors in the Visitor Center Theater. * There is FREE PARKING in the Visitor Center parking lot, which is located on SW 168 Street, just west of 72nd Avenue.
