The 37th season opens in the heart of Hispanic Heritage Month with a program built on rhythm, memory, and unmistakable color. The Alhambra Orchestra performs side by side with Músicos por Venezuela under the direction of Maestro Daniel Andai and guest conductor Maestro Tarcisio Barreto Ceballos, joined by special guest musicians Ensamble 7/4, and singer Jonathan Acosta. Music from Bizet’s Carmen and de Falla’s Ritual Fire Dance gives way to Carreño’s Margariteña, Márquez’s Danzón No. 2, Aires de Venezuela, and a lively selection of popular favorites.
