Workshop: Dreamscapes in Encaustic & Mixed Media

In this engaging all-level workshop, participants will unleash their creativity by re-imagining what a surface can be. Learn to create a variety of textures from organic to abstract forms, using encaustic wax and mixed media techniques that can be incorporated into any painting style or subject matter. All materials are provided; students are free to bring in their own substrate as long as it’s a solid surface (not canvas). This is a two-day workshop! Students are also encouraged to bring photo references of textures for inspiration if they’d like.
