About This Event

Florida Premiere. A beautiful, funny, and visually striking contemporary play from Puerto Rico about family, identity, relationships, and…

FLORIDA PREMIERE. Open Scene brings Teatro Público de Puerto Rico’s Blanco Temblor to Florida for the first time as the production begins its national tour.

Blanco Temblor is a contemporary play that combines humor, tenderness, theatrical imagination, and strong visual storytelling in a deeply human story about family, identity, relationships, and the ways we keep moving forward.

Written and directed by Carola García López , the play approaches difficult subjects, including mental health and bipolar disorder, without losing its wit, emotional warmth, or visual beauty.

Performed in Spanish with projected English subtitles , Blanco Temblor makes its Florida Premiere as part of VI FIAE, Open Scene’s International Performing Arts Festival.
