Florida is known for it's beautiful variety of trees! The Florida Keys Council of the Arts announced their 2020 Members Show, “Trees of the Keys”.
This show encourages artists to celebrate the magnificent arboreal canopy- from the lush tropical hardwoods to the abundant fruit trees, palms, and fragrant flowering shade trees. The show will include 2 and 3-dimensional artwork.
The Gato building, which is home to many State and County offices, supports the Art in Public Buildings program which offers an alternate space for artists to display the artists' work. The Opening Reception will be held Friday, November 15, from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at the historic Gato Building, 1100 Simonton Street, Key West. The exhibition will remain on display through January 2020.
Contact the Arts Council at 305-295-4369 with any questions.
