PLAISIR is a French-Caribbean multi-media artist, who combines painting, drawing, monumental
installations and performance to present highly intense visual experiences. She’s working on blends
life and fiction in self personal narratives and historical narratives from Caribbean touching on
universal themes like power, domination and prejudice.
Since 2002, Plaisir has exhibited in
numerous group shows, and solos exhibitions throughout the world. She has participated in various
International Biennials of Contemporary Art in Europe, Africa, Caribbean.
As a textile-artist, she’s collaborating with The French designer furniture company Roche-Bobois
( Paris ).
