Peter London Global Dance Company kicks off its 14th anniversary season December 19-21 at the Adrienne Arsht Center with Jamar Roberts, America's unparalleled contemporary dancer and former Alvin Ailey principal.
One of the most sought-after African American choreographers of his generation, Roberts brings his artistic magic to PLGDC’s THE ONENESS. His extraordinary choreography is on display in A FOLK'S TALE, a remarkable and poignant gem about African American resilience, and AS AN OFFERING, a showstopper with an original score by Etienne Charles, a world-renowned, award-winning trumpeter and composer and founder/leader of the band Creole Soul.
