Starburst Concert: Gianna Beckford & Nihar Bhavsar with Paul Posnak

This season's Starburst Concert features two outstanding young South Florida musicians on their way to professional careers. Gianna Beckford, formerly principal violist at Dillard High School now studying at FIU, has twice performed with New World Symphony’s Side-by-Side program, among many major achievements. Clarinetist Nihar Bhavsar, now studying at University of Miami Frost School of Music, has performed at Carnegie Hall, Sala Sao Paulo, the Kravis Center, and as principal clarinetist at Equity Arc National Pathways Festival Orchestra in Washington, DC.

Great music in a great venue – the art filled La Merced Chapel & Museum with newly installed hand carved ceiling, pews, and working bell towers. Tickets include: Post-show wine reception and Student Art Gallery, featuring works from Miami Arts Studio 6-12 at Zelda Glazer.
