Residencies is an artist residency that supports early-career Miami artists by providing dedicated studio space within the New World Gallery for one month. Conceived as a site for experimentation, research, and creative development, the residency offers artists the opportunity to produce a new body of work, pursue a special project, or explore an unfamiliar medium.

The residency culminates in a public exhibition featuring the work developed during the residency, providing artists with the opportunity to share the outcomes of their research and experimentation with the community. This final presentation celebrates the creative process while fostering dialogue between artists, students, collectors, and the public, reinforcing NWSA's commitment to supporting emerging artists and strengthening Miami's contemporary art ecosystem.
