"Radium Girls" presented by Land O Lakes High School Drama Department

Radium Girls is a powerful play based on the true story of young women in the 1920s who worked in factories painting watch dials with radioactive radium paint. When the women begin suffering devastating health effects, they discover that the substance they were told was safe is actually deadly. Led by Grace Fryer, these courageous women take on a powerful corporation in their fight for justice. Radium Girls is an inspiring and emotional story of courage, friendship, and standing up for what is right, even when the odds are against you.
