Oscillation: Beekeeping Structural Workshop

Join us for a hands-on outdoor workshop on Saturday, August 1st, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Deering Estate.

Participants will create a hanging sculpture using locally harvested bamboo and biodegradable twine, an ecologically mindful piece that also functions as a bee hotel supporting solitary pollinators. Guided by themes of tides, flow, and our interconnected place in nature, this workshop explores where art and conservation meet.

This event will take place outside unless weather conditions require a shift in plans. Please dress for the weather and bring a hat, sunblock and water. Shears are recommended.
