Mozart’s “Jupiter” Symphony No. 41

The symphony became Mozart’s final and longest symphonic work, named “Jupiter” after the king of the Roman gods. The symphony’s triumphant finale is widely regarded as one of the greatest achievements in all classical music.

Acclaimed Violinist Kelly Hall-Tompkins returns to Orlando to perform Jeff Beal’s Body in Motion , a work written especially for her that blends virtuosic energy with cinematic lyricism and contemporary style.

To open the concert, Michael Torke’s Ash fuses minimalism with classical style, energized with a distinctive Beethovenian drive.

At just thirteen years old, Asher Schmidt was named a winner of the 2024 National Young Composers Challenge with his orchestral work, Caprice for Orchestra . Now, we are honored to welcome Schmidt back to Orlando to have their work programmed alongside Mozart.
