Family Day

The fall 2026 Family Day will be inspired by the Orlando Museum of Art’s exhibition of acclaimed picture book artist Sophie Blackall. The event will feature an appearance by Sophie Blackall herself, offering families the rare opportunity to hear directly from the artist about her creative process and the stories behind her beloved books.

A signature highlight of the day will be Symphony Storytime@OMA concerts, bringing one of Blackall’s works to life through a live reading accompanied by musicians from the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra.
