Located next to the Winter Park Farmer's Market, the Winter Park History Museum is free and open to the public Tuesdays-Fridays from 10 - 4 and Saturdays from 10-2.
Our current exhibition, The Winter Park History Museum is proud to present its salute to the arts and cultural movement that established and continues to define the City of Winter Park, the “City of Arts and Culture.” The exhibition tells the story of the very early Art Colony established in Winter Park, the influence of Rollins College as an arts incubator, and the multitude of organizations that have contributed talent and commitment to developing the exceptional cultural venues and programs that thrive in Winter Park.
The mission of the Winter Park Historical Association is to collect, preserve, promote and research the history of Winter Park and its surrounding area, and to share that history with the public through educational programs and operation of a museum.
The non-profit Winter Park Historical Association strives to achieve this mission through free public programs, outreach programs for schools and exhibits at our history museum. The museum has been located in the historic Farmer’s Market building since 1995 and is free and open to the public.
