The Hannibal Square Heritage Center preserves and celebrates the history of west Winter Park’s African American community through photographs, oral histories, art and personal stories shared by neighborhood residents. Its permanent Heritage Collection brings local history to life through first-person accounts and family photographs preserved across generations. The center also presents visiting exhibitions, cultural events and educational programs exploring African American history, Southern folklore, cultural preservation, family history and community life. Free art classes for local youth and seniors, along with partnerships with schools and cultural organizations, make the center a vibrant gathering place where history, art and community come together.
