Student-Professional Little Mermaid Auditions

Event Description

ASC is currently auditioning for their student-professional production of Disney's The Little Mermaid. This production will be performed at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Date County, and will be led by the same Carbonell Award-winning creative team of the MainStage professional production. Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories and the classic animated film, Disney's The Little Mermaid is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner, Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and a compelling book by Doug Wright, this classic tale is a Disney classic for the whole family.

This production experience is for dedicated, advanced, and more experienced students who wish to take their artistry to the next level. Students participating in this production should expect intense, but fun rehearsal days where they will be treated as professional actors. Participants should be prepared to work hard, have fun, and jump in with both feet!

AUDITIONS

March 1st @ 7:00PM & March 3rd @5PM

Please come prepared with 16 bars of a musical theatre song in the style of The Little Mermaid, and one-minute monologue.
