Area Stage Company Black Box Theatre
Area Stage Company's new location in Sunset Place features a state-of-the-art, custom-designed black box theatre performance space with flexible seating and floorplan. As part of our mission to educate the next generation of theatre artists, the Area Stage Company is proud to offer group classes, private lessons, and professional-caliber performance opportunities to aspiring artists. The Conservatory is a place where young artists can learn from, and perform alongside working professionals. Our students learn and grow from witnessing the power of live, professional theatre in action in ASC’s Mainstage productions. Offerings emphasize the three pillars of musical theatre: acting, singing, and dancing, as well as audition technique, musicianship, and technical theatre. The Inclusion Theatre Project (ITP) offers free theatre education for students with developmental and intellectual disabilities of all ages.
