MIAMI NEW DRAMA: A WONDERFUL WORLD
Through January 16th
A world-premiere musical about jazz legend and singular American icon Louis Armstrong, featuring songs recorded and made popular by Armstrong, and original book by Aurin Squire, the multi-talented Opalocka-raised playwright and TV writer (This is Us, The Good Fight), and co-author of Confessions of a Cocaine Cowboy. THE FRANK PEMBROKE PINES: JAZZ IN THE PINES WITH LIVE PAINTING BY ELA NEBULA
December 19th 3:00 pm
Live painting will be featured with Jazz in the Pines from 3 pm to 5 pm! Watch and engage with artist Ela Nebula in this pop-up art studio visit. Witness the artist’s painting techniques as she shares her creation in process. Visitors will get to see the process of making a painting as layers of paint build on the canvas while the artist works toward completion. More event details here.

CHOPIN FOUNDATION OF THE U.S.: CHELSEA GUO - CO-4TH PRIZE WINNER OF THE 2020 NATIONAL CHOPIN PIANO COMPETITION

Experience Chelsea Guo as part of the Chopin for All Free Concert series. Twenty-year-old Chelsea Guo has already attracted international attention as a pianist and soprano of remarkable gifts. Chelsea's solo performances have taken her to Carnegie Hall and London's Wigmore Hall, as well as prominent venues throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. More event details here.
DOWNTOWN DORAL: CHRIS THILE AND AOIFE O'DONOVAN

MacArthur Fellow and Grammy Award-winning mandolinist, singer, songwriter Chris Thile, who the Guardian calls "that rare being: an all-round musician who can settle into any style, from bluegrass to classical,” and NPR calls a "genre-defying musical genius," is a founding member of the critically acclaimed bands Punch Brothers and Nickel Creek.
Grammy award-winning artist Aoife O'Donovan operates in a thrilling musical world beyond genre. Deemed “a vocalist of unerring instinct” by The New York Times, she has released two critically acclaimed and boundary-blurring solo albums including In the Magic Hour, which Rolling Stone hailed for its "Impressionistic, atmospheric songs [that] relay their narratives against gorgeous pastoral backdrops." NEW WORLD SYMPHONY: WALLCAST® CONCERT SOUNDS OF THE SEASON
