Event Description
The Ellies 2026 will take place on Wednesday, April 22, honoring visionary arts leaders Mario Cader-Frech and Robert S. Wennett for their transformative contributions to Central American art and their enduring support of Miami’s cultural community. The evening will present awards across four categories: Lifetime Achievement, Better World Award, Art Teacher Travel Awards, and Creator Awards.
Now open to artists across Miami-Dade, Broward, Monroe, and Palm Beach counties, The Ellies will distribute $425,000 in direct financial support this year, with additional funds through acquisitions—continuing its legacy as South Florida’s premier art award program
