An Army of Women Special Screening at Tropic Cinema On December 1,National Women Supporting Women Day, Tropic Cinema is proud to present a special screening of An Army of Women, a powerful film that celebrates resilience, solidarity, and the strength of survivors. An Army of Women highlights the realities survivors endure while showcasing the transformative power of collective support.
Both moving and empowering, the film offers validation and healing for survivors while raising vital awareness within our community. Benefiting Christinas Courage Proceeds from this event will directly support Christinas Courage, Monroe County's only sexual assault crisis center.
Christina's Courage provides 24/7 crisis response, free counseling, legal and medical advocacy, prevention education, and a sensory-inclusive center where every person can find safety, dignity, and care. This series is supported in part by the Florida Council of the Arts
