Dr. Matías Nochetto has been involved with Divers Alert Network (DAN) for over two decades. He serves as Executive Vice President of Global Medical Affairs and, in this role, oversees the organization’s overall medical direction, including medical policy, strategy, education, and global partnerships that support divers and dive professionals worldwide. Originally from Argentina, Dr. Nochetto has given lectures internationally on a wide range of dive medicine topics, with a practical approach to dive safety grounded in real-world experience.
In this talk, Dr. Nochetto shares the story of the Divers Alert Network (DAN) and its evolution over the past 45 years. This presentation also challenges common perceptions, highlighting that DAN’s role extends far beyond any single product or service.
Come early for the grand opening of the History of Diving Museum’s new featured exhibit Prescribed Pressure, which explores the fascinating world of undersea medicine and how pressure can both harm and heal. Enjoy light refreshments from 6 PM to 6:45 PM, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6:30 PM.
