Event Description

In celebration of our exhibition Origins: The First Generation of Graffiti Art at Museum of Graffiti, COCO144 will travel from NYC for a deep conversation with co-founder and curator Alan Ket. Together, they will explore COCO144’s work with UGA, the emergence of graffiti in gallery spaces during the movement’s formative years, and his relationship with the late aerosol art pioneer PHASE2, whose work is also on view. This special discussion offers a firsthand look at the artists and ideas that shaped the foundation of graffiti as an art form. Enjoy complimentary refreshments courtesy of Monster Energy, our exclusive energy drink partner who continues to make culture possible at Museum of Graffiti.
