Rejuvenation Orchestra

Sam Rivers left an indelible mark on the jazz scene in the world, and especially in Orlando, where he lived for the last 30 years of his life.

Sam played free jazz with his trio, played with many jazz greats, including Miles Davis, and he also composed hundreds of pieces for a piano-less big band.

16 musicians rehearse every month to make sure that his big band music lives on, and gets passed onto the next generation of jazz musicians.
