Descolonizarte TEATRO te invita a Queering the Border: Que el amor nos haga from the EDALX artist: Mujeres en Ritual.

Queering the Border: Que el amor nos haga is a bilingual devised theatre work rooted in the real stories of women and LGBTQ2S+ asylum seekers from Latin America. Through a feminist, queer, and anti-colonial lens, the performance explores forced displacement, migration, and the lived realities of the U.S.–Mexico border—interrogation, detention, violence, and survival.

Blending theater, live music, media, ritual, and dance, the piece centers love, imagination, and collective healing as acts of resistance against xenophobia, homo/transphobia, and colonial violence.
