Discover the art of beautiful lettering in this beginner-friendly pointed pen calligraphy workshop with Margot Griffin. Designed for complete beginners, this three-hour class will introduce you to the tools, techniques, and foundational strokes behind traditional and modern calligraphy styles.

Learn the differences between broad-edge and pointed pen calligraphy while experimenting with a variety of pressure-sensitive writing tools. Margot will guide you through foundational strokes used in styles such as Copperplate, Spencerian, and modern brush lettering. You’ll also learn how to properly prepare, use, and care for straight and oblique dip pens, nibs, and other essential calligraphy tools.

No previous experience, artistic training, or drawing skills are required. All supplies are provided, so simply come ready to learn a new creative skill and explore the timeless art of hand lettering.
