Guest Piano Recital and Master Class with Daniel Shapiro

Pianist Daniel Shapiro will perform an all-Beethoven recital and immediately following his performance, conservatory piano majors will play for him in a master class. Shapiro is a leading interpreter of Schubert, Beethoven, Mozart, Brahms and Schumann.

He has given critically acclaimed performances across the United States and Canada, as well as in Europe and Asia and has recently released a two-disc set containing all the late pieces of Brahms on the Centaur Records label. Shapiro has taught at the Cleveland Institute of Music for nearly three decades.
