Global Peace Film Festival Opening Night - A Break in the Rain

A BREAK IN THE RAIN follows Jake Watson, a man who has been travelling for ten years since his wife’s death from cancer. After his son also dies of the same illness, Jake returns home to his daughter-in-law and her family. To help out, he takes a job as a limo driver for a traveling singer, Catriona Walsh. Over the course of a two-week road trip, Jake and Catriona’s shared journey becomes a path toward healing for both of them.

Starring Academy Award nominee Michael O'Keefe, Elizabeth A. Davis, S. Epatha Merkerson, Emily Donahoe, and Will Chase, and directed by Don Scardino.
