An afternoon of workshop and films presented by Third Horizon and White Elephant Group
Hosted by the Broward County Film Society at Savor Cinema, join Third Horizon and White Elephant Group for an afternoon and evening of creative development, Haitian cinema, and conversation featuring filmmakers Al’Ikens Plancher and Edson Jean.
The afternoon begins with Deck & Sip™, a fun, guided workshop where filmmakers and multidisciplinary creatives can make real progress on their pitch decks. Bring your laptop, a creative project or project idea, and any notes, images, references, or written materials you already have. Al’Ikens and Edson will guide participants through pitch-deck structure, project language, visual thinking, and practical tools for transforming loose materials into a clear creative presentation.
At 6pm, the program continues with Sinema Chat, a curated screening spotlighting the work of Haitian filmmaker Al’Ikens Plancher:
