If you're 62 or older and live in Miami-Dade, you could be enjoying some of the county's cultural attractions without paying admission. Think an afternoon at a museum, a stroll through tropical gardens or a live performance you've been meaning to see.

It's all thanks to the Golden Ticket Arts Guide, a Miami-Dade County program offering free admission to a rotating selection of museums, gardens, theater performances and concerts. More than 50 organizations take part in the 2026-27 guide's year-round offers alone, from Vizcaya and Zoo Miami to the Bass and the Pérez Art Museum Miami, with dozens of free performances added month by month.

How to get your Golden Ticket

Getting started is simple. Print the county's free 2027 Golden Ticket coupons, which are valid through Oct. 31, 2027, or use the coupons in the printed guide. Printed guides are mailed to everyone on the county's Golden Ticket mailing list and are also available at Miami-Dade County libraries and other select locations. Seniors and senior activity centers can request a copy by calling 305-499-8755.

Before you go, make sure you:

  1. Fill in a coupon with your name, address, phone, email, date of birth, and the event and date you plan to attend.

  2. Bring a valid photo ID and proof of Miami-Dade residency, along with one completed coupon for each eligible person.

  3. Check the individual offer for reservation requirements. Theater performances, concerts and other limited-capacity events usually need advance booking, and some close requests weeks ahead.

Bringing someone along? Guests under 62 or living outside Miami-Dade County need to pay standard admission unless the venue has another applicable free-admission offer.
