Founded in 2006 by Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi, Orchestra Miami is one of Miami’s most unique professional performing ensembles. Its mission is to connect communities and educate through music by bringing affordable, accessible, high-quality classical music experiences to audiences. Known for exceptional artistry, imaginative programming, and performances in diverse venues, Orchestra Miami’s original programs include the free annual Beethoven on the Beach series, a free New Year’s Eve concert on Miami Beach, the Family Fun Series at Pinecrest Gardens, and the engaging Discover Miami Through Music concerts. Its programs reach thousands each year, and its education initiatives have introduced more than 36,000 Miami-Dade County Public School students to classical music for free.
