Virtual Sketchbook Habits: Visual PoetryMonday 5/24
Sketchbook Habits is focused on helping participants to understand their relationship to artmaking, so naturally, the class will be formatted around conversation and a cozy sketchbook session. Participants will be drawing, writing, collaging, chatting and sometimes printing throughout the class while being guided through a series of themed prompts. Students may or may not arrive with an intention to explore a specific topic, and all experience levels are encouraged to participate.
This month, we are celebrating poetry month with prompts focused on tying together poetry and visual art. We ask that each participant bring a poem to serve as inspiration - original or otherwise.
This is a free/donation-based workshop where students supply their own materials. All materials are low-cost and easily accessible. For more information on the materials, how to sign-up and donation options, visit our website at: https://www.isprojectsfl.com/workshops/sketch-habits-poetry
