Between Two Palms is a livestream series of intimate conversations between award-winning art-makers from the performing, visual and literary arts and members of The Studios family.
RICHARD KIND has been performing for over 35 years on stage and screen as well as lending his voice to some of the most iconic animated films of the last 20 years. He is recognizable from his starring roles on the TV sitcoms Mad About You, Spin City, Scrubs and Curb Your Enthusiasm and has made guest appearances on over 30 more TV shows. Film roles include A Serious Man, Argo and Hereafterand he has voiced characters in many Pixar films including A Bug’s Life, Cars, Cars 2, Toy Story 3 and Inside Out. His versatility as a sketch comedy performer was evident as a cast member of Carol Burnett’s Carol & Company, which ran for two seasons on NBC. Theatre roles have included his originating the part of Addison Mizner in Stephen Sondheim’s Bounce and he has appeared on Broadway many times including starring roles in The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife, as Max Bialystock inThe Producers, Sly Fox & The Big Knife for which he won a Drama Desk Award and a Tony nomination.
