Chopin Foundation Announces the 2023-2024 Concert Season

Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of CHOPIN for ALL free concerts in Broward County and 28 years in Miami-Dade
The Chopin Foundation of the United States, a Miami-based national non-profit organization with international impact, proudly announces a new season of concerts.
The annual CHOPIN for ALL free concert series offers monthly programs in Broward and Miami-Dade county locations from November 2023 through May 2024. This season will showcase six artists excited to share their passion for Chopin’s music with a loyal S. Florida audience that has come to appreciate the world-class offerings from the Chopin Foundation. Three accomplished pianists from the United States will perform in November, December, and January. Lewis Warren Jr. is the winner of the 2023 Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Young Artist Piano Competition; William Ge, at 16 years old, is the youngest performer this year but has already been recognized at many competitive events, including the 2023 MTNA National Senior Piano Competition where he received the special Chopin Prize; and Sarah Tuan, who took part in the 2021 Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw. Polish/Vietnamese pianist Viet Trung Nguyen, a participant in the 2021 Chopin International Piano Competition and a Prize winner at the National Chopin Competition in Warsaw, will play in February. Victoria Wong, the Canadian/ American gold prize winner at the 2022 San Francisco International Music Competition, will have her series debut in March. Mateusz Krzyżowski, a Polish pianist and first-prize winner at the 2022 International Paderewski Piano Competition in Bydgoszcz, Poland, was also a semi-finalist at the 2021 International Chopin Competition in Warsaw. He will conclude the series in May. Another traditional feature of the CHOPIN for ALL series is the April Young Local Pianists Concert featuring the best local pianists, all 17 years old or younger, in an all-Chopin program.
The Chopin Salons feature three internationally recognized, established artists: Martin Garcia Garcia, the third prize winner at the 2021 International Chopin Piano Competition and first prize winner of the 2021 Cleveland International Piano Competition, will open the series in November. One of Poland’s most distinguished pianists, Ewa Pobłocka – a prize-winner of the Tenth International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, will perform in January. The Chopin Salons conclude in March with Peter Miyamoto – a Prize winner at the 1995 National Chopin Competition in Miami and an acclaimed recording artist. The Chopin Salons take place at the historic Miami Beach Woman’s Club.
