Music, Literacy & Art Fridays with SFCE

Fri 08/05/2022

During the Summer Season enjoy live music, cultural stories, literacy fun, visual arts and dance every Friday with South Florida Chamber Ensemble (SFCE)! Free with admission!

This weeks the program is: Popocatapetl (Mexico)

Join Young At Art (YAA) for some music and literacy fun as you sing, dance and color along with South Florida Chamber Ensemble (SFCE). The iLUMA (Inter-generational Literacy Using Music and Art) performance is an arts integration program created by SFCE.

SFCE has partnered with YAA for 6 years providing free music and literacy concerts to children and families in YAA’s Community Initiatives, primarily Art REACH for children experiencing homelessness.

The South Florida Chamber Ensemble (SFCE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of South Florida residents through music. The group formed in 2011 when the Art Trio and the New York Wind Trio merged. The vision of the ensemble is to use music as a catalyst for change with respect to education, social justice, economic equality, and health and healing.
