IFE-ILE Afro-Cuban Dance Festival

The 23rd Annual IFE-ILE Afro-Cuban Dance Festival will take place from August 3 to 6, 2022. It will have two important venues. Academic panels on dance and culture will be held at the HistoryMiami Museum from August 3rd to 4th, culminating in an opening Cuban conga line at 4:00pm on August 3rd (Free admission). The second venue will be the Koubek Center (paid events) where guest local dancers and instructors will teach Afro-Cuban dance workshops (orichas, rumba, etc.), Afro-contemporary, cubatón, Cuban casino and mambo, among other dance styles from August 5 to 6. A closing performance on August 6 will feature local dance groups and guests from the University of Texas at El Paso, and Dance Heals company from Philadelphia, along with dancers and musicians from IFE-ILE, followed by a closing party.

Price $20 - $200 (some events free)
