Ekphrasis at the Norton
Friday 5/10The Ekphrasis Project is an immersive, site-specific performance, conceived and branded by Dance Now! Miami Artistic Directors and Choreographers Diego Salterini & Hannah Baumgarten. Ekphrasis creates dialogue between choreography and visual arts. The performances are unique, migrating events, where the audience is guided from station to station and drawn in to a multi layered arts experience-- a forum for exploring the connections between performance and visual arts or architecture. The work presented is designed directly and inspired by the works on display, and can only be performed as such. It is not a dance performance in a Museum, but instead, a unique iteration of the artwork through dance.
