ChamberFest Miami 2024: New Destinations promises an extraordinary musical journey. Presented in partnership with the Mainly Mozart Festival and produced by the Miami Chamber Music Society, this eclectic festival will highlight classical masterworks and innovative new perspectives across genres, eras, and artistic frontiers.

The adventure begins on May 9th with a special pre-festival event featuring the renowned Ariel Quartet the festival's artistic director Marina Radiushina for works by Ravel, Schumann, and Dvořák's beloved Piano Quintet. Highlights include the "Virtuoso Flight" concert on May 18th and 19th showcasing the poetic brilliance of pianist Zhu Wang, and the "Freylakh: From Classical to Klezmer" performances on May 23rd and 24th blending classical sophistication with vibrant klezmer folk traditions.

On May 25th, cellist Alexander Hersh will transport audiences with his groundbreaking program "Absinthe", an immersive fusion of live classical music and cinematic storytelling exploring the infamous "Green Fairy" spirit. The festival also features stellar chamber performances by violin/cello/piano trios and quartets on May 26th and June 1st/2nd with.

World-class artistry from beloved ensembles and rising stars alike will grace our stages. Anchoring the festival are performances by the renowned Amernet Quartet and myself on piano. We will be joined by an array of international award-winning soloists, including Grammy-winning composer and violist Nathan Schram, Avery Fisher Career Grant recipient violinist Arnaud Sussmann, and top prizewinners from prestigious competitions: violinists Maria Ioudenitch and Hyunjee Chung, cellists Alexander Hersh and Gabriel Martins, clarinetist Moran Katz, and pianist Zhu Wang.

Leaning on our strong existing partnership with the Sanctuary of the Arts, ChamberFest Miami 2024 forges exciting new collaborations with The Hub at Temple Beth Am, the Coral Gables Art Cinema, and presents concerts in fantastic venues like the Newman Recital Hall in the Knight Innovation Center and the New World Center's Truist Pavilion.

From revered masterworks to cutting-edge fusions, this festival celebrates the limitless possibilities of chamber music through an extraordinary musical odyssey to "New Destinations."
