Cello Lab

New World School of the Arts' Cello Lab is an online weekend of cello workshops, masterclasses and presentations held virtually with a limited in-person cello ensemble. For virtual attendees, masterclass participation will be prioritized for high school juniors and seniors. For a limited number of participants, Cello Lab will hold an in-person cello ensemble in downtown Miami and record a concert Sunday evening to be shared the following week. Stringent Covid-19 safety measures will be followed. Throughout the workshop, participants will learn from renowned cellists through masterclasses and a panel discussion, discussing technique and practice strategies in various presentations. Guest artists to be announced soon.
