SUNRISE CIVIC CENTER THEATRE: INTERACTIVE MOVIE: "HOCUS POCUS"
October 30th at 6:00 pm
Experience the hit ‘90s comedy, “Hocus Pocus,” like never before! Audience members each receive an interactive goodie bag with clues on how to use it during the movie. More event details here.
HOLLYWEIRD HALLOWEEN DOWNTOWN HOLLYWOOD BLOCK PARTY
October 30th through the 31st
The block party features family friendly entertainment from 6pm-9pm, including candy stations, face painting, DJ, and a children’s costume contest with prizes. From 9pm-2am, the party continues with live bands, outdoor bars and adult costume contests with $10,000 in prizes! More event details here.
NEW WORLD CENTER: CONCERT FOR KIDS - TRICKS AND TREATS
October 31st at 12:00 pm
Families will enjoy a spooktacular afternoon at the New World Center for Tricks and Treats—NWS’s first Concert for Kids program of the season. Conducting Fellow Chad Goodman brings the goosebumps with scary-good favorites from Pictures at an Exhibition, Jaws, Superman and The Nightmare Before Christmas. More event details here.
FLAMINGO GARDENS: HARVEST FESTIVAL HALLOWEEN WEEKEND
October 30th through the 31st
Harvest Festival admission includes free hayrides from 10am – 4pm, themed scavenger hunts, fun educational activities, harvest themed displays, photo ops, live performances, food, music, and the new Gallery exhibit Armor and Might: The Conquest of La Florida with authentic Conquistador artifacts and replicas. This weekend, take photos with your favorite creepy critters with our Animal Care staff and see the “Knights and Armor” presentation in the Gallery with Historian Robert Feeney. Saturday, October 30th, enjoy a performance by Florida Children’s Theater Traveling Circus at 2pm. More event details here.
SANDRELL RIVERS THEATRE: LITTLE MONSTER TALES
October 31st at 3:00 pm
Put on your Halloween Costume and join SRT for a Live Halloween performance of Little Monster Tales! Delightfully funny stories from children’s books about monsters, children, and other squiggly creatures- We bring these stories to life on stage! This show combines reading, literature, comedy, puppets, music -even a headless butler who can juggle! The show tickles your funny bone and sends everyone running to the library for more books by the same authors! More event details here.
